Okay - so we have a picture from the hamptons cottages and gardens idea house of either 2007/2008 (sad, i dont know which). it was in the ny times. i love the big floral/mod-ish wallpaper. someday - i will have big loud wallpaper. the next are meganauman.etsy.com. i love etsy and that may have to be another post altogether. but point is, i love the bins and furniture and pendant fixtures/chandaliers by this lady. they are so cool! imagine the white chandalier in the idea house hall instead of the egg light. ...okay - the last 2 are from apartmenttherapy.com. not sure if you've seen this site but they have a whole bunch of great DIY and real photos of regular people decorating their own spaces. the office space is from some place in singapore. but i love the bookshelves and the fact that there's a bed in the office! granted, i havent really worked in a real office, but from a student standpoint, i spend countless hours in front of my computer reading. laying down is sooo the way to go for this...in my book. and then - a DIY for this starburst mirror was on the site. how fantastic is that? someday ...sooon! only there's gold leaf and that part intimidates me. i like silver spray paint. that sounds more do-able. but i doubt it would look as cool.
